Danielle Perez
Danielle Perez is an associate attorney at The Morgan Law Group, where she focuses her practice on representing individuals and business entities in civil litigation, including commercial and residential property insurance claims.
Ms. Perez first found her passion for property insurance claims in 2017, when Hurricanes Irma and Maria severely impacted several members of her family residing in Puerto Rico. As a Miami native, she herself has experienced many devastating hurricanes. These experiences drive her to zealously advocate for her clients.
In 2019, she had the honor to train in Washington D.C., where she received a certificate of completion in disaster lawyering, from a well-known disaster recovery legal corps program.
Prior to joining The Morgan Law Group, Ms. Perez gained valuable experience in personal injury, labor, and employment law. Notably, Ms. Perez also has unique experience working for a prestigious research center, where she would measure, track, and analyze the long-term influence that natural disasters and pandemics have on business practices, law, and government. In this role, she facilitated data-sharing partnerships and conducted research in collaboration with companies, institutions, and the government, to aid in prevention, mitigation, and recovery.
While attending St. Thomas University College of Law, Ms. Perez earned a Merit Scholarship and the C. Clyde Atkins Memorial Scholarship. During this time, Ms. Perez competed in numerous mock trial competitions where she received national and local recognition for her trial advocacy skills. Ms. Perez also served as a judicial intern for Circuit Judge William Altfield and was the Student Articles Editor for the St. Thomas Law Intercultural Human Rights Law Review.
