Elizabeth Diaz Fernandez
Elizabeth Diaz Fernandez is an attorney at The Morgan Law Group, P.A. where she concentrates in the area of General Civil Litigation.
Ms. Diaz Fernandez was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, FL. She attended Florida International University and earned a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice, along with a minor in Sociology. Ms. Diaz Fernandez received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law.
In law school, Ms. Diaz Fernandez earned Dean’s List Honors. Additionally, she was a member of the Board of Advocates, The Negotiation & Mediation Team, and participated in the Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic’s Dannette Willory: Access to Justice for Victims of Domestic Violence Project. In this project, Ms. Diaz Fernandez helped victims of domestic violence and veterans by drafting petitions for injunctions, dissolution of marriage, alimony, and living wills.
During her time in law school, Ms. Diaz Fernandez also served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable, Marcia B. Caballero, Associate Administrative Judge: Circuit Court Judge for the Unified Children’s Court division. Additionally, she was a Certified Legal Intern for the Office of the State Attorney for Miami-Dade County.
Prior to joining The Morgan Law Group, Ms. Diaz Fernandez worked as an Assistant State Attorney for Miami-Dade County, where she prosecuted drug-related violations and violent felonies gaining significant litigation and trial experience.
