Jeffery DeCarlo is an Of Counsel for The Morgan Law Group P.A. and a trial attorney for personal injury victims, consumers, property owners, and small business owners. For twelve years, Mr. DeCarlo worked for and was trained by large law firms representing Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and insurance companies before starting a successful solo law practice.
Mr. DeCarlo devotes substantial time and resources working for people injured by dangerous drugs and medical products and representing homeowners and commercial property owners in complex insurance coverage disputes.
In 2009, Mr. DeCarlo was appointed by United States District Court Judge Ann Aldrich to the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the multi-district litigation proceeding No. 2066 titled In Re: Oral Sodium Phosphate Solution Products Liability Litigation.
In 2011, Mr. DeCarlo was admitted to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which are reserved for only a small percentage of attorneys who obtain multiple settlements or verdicts for their clients totaling millions of dollars or more.
Mr. DeCarlo is rated AV Preeminent (Highest Competency and Ethics Rating from Martindale-Hubbell). Mr. DeCarlo is a nationally recognized pharmaceutical and medical device injury lawyer. In 2014, Mr. DeCarlo was admitted to the National Trial Lawyers: Top 100, which is an invitation-only organization composed of premier trial lawyers from each state or region.
In Mr. DeCarlo’s 24 years of practice, he has tried cases in federal and state courts throughout Florida, the NYSE, NASD, and the AAA. Mr. De Carlo has worked on cases resulting in significant verdicts and settlements throughout Florida and the nation.
Mr. DeCarlo received his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law (J.D. cum laude 1995) where he was a member of the Inter-American Law Review. Mr. DeCarlo received his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida (B.A. 1991). Mr. DeCarlo served in the U.S. Air Force (active duty and reserves 1983 to 1991).
